Recipes of the Day: Blueberry Banana Smoothie and Broccoli Arugula Soup

These recipes are part of my Paleo Detox Diet (I'll add a post with a daily meal plan after these). The banana is essential for fighting bloating, since low calorie diets tend to cause water retention. You can swap the blueberries out for any fruit you like, strawberries, papaya, etc. Blueberries just have some amazing benefits for your skin and overall health, plus I personally love the flavor with the creamy banana and nutty almond milk. The soup is a great low calorie dinner, and the peppery arugula add lots of flavor to keep you satisfied.
